Generator Sub-base Tanks

Generator sub-base tanks are typically built custom on a case-by-case basis. Whether it is for mobile applications, stationary, or as a structural base for an enclosed space, we can help with any applications on a small or larger scale. Guardian Tanks have designed standard models for some OEM’s generator models and have built large tanks for major backup power systems.

General characteristics:

• Single or double wall
• Certified Transport Canada, UL - UL 142A, and ULC
• Meets CSA standards B138 and B139 for stationary and mobile applications
• Comes with an anti-spill system for mobile applications
• Industrial heaters sub-base tanks are also available
• Options include insulation, built-in lift pockets, and heaters

This is an example of a typical basic format sub-base tank for generators.

The next example is a more complex system with an anti-slip top for people to be able to walk on it.

This unit is a large-scale structural sub-base tank with vent risers for a large enclosure. It’s 18’ long x 13’ wide and was installed in 2020 for a hospital backup power system.
