Millwright

Job Overview:

We are looking for a qualified Millwright to join our team. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for the installation, repair and maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment. You will work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities :

• Install, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and equipment
• Manage the preventative maintenance program
• Perform welding tasks for the manufacture and repair of parts
• Use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track work performed.
• Perform mechanical work, including dismantling, assembling, and adjusting machines
• Perform electrical and HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) work as required
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams
• Analyze technical problems and propose appropriate solutions
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure site safety and productivity

Experience required:

• Previous experience as a Millwright or in a similar field
  
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles
• Welding skills for the manufacture and repair of metal parts
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical diagrams
• Fluency in English (spoken and written) and French (spoken and written)
• Experience as an industrial electrician is a plus

Compensation: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour
